Who Are We?

Center Valley Baseball is an organization meant to provide our local youth additional opportunities for select-style roster tournament baseball.  Players will tryout with only 10-11 players making a team.  Alternate player roles will be available.

Kids that attend school in a district that touches the Town of Center are eligible to play for Center Valley Baseball.  This will include Freedom, Appleton, Hortonville, Shiocton, and Seymour school districts.

Optional winter practices will be available, with 1-2 spring tournaments (possibly indoor) and tournaments to round out the summer in August and September.  We will attempt to avoid conflicts with local community athletic association tournaments.  A total of 5-6 events will be standard, but ultimately up the coach's discretion.  Some age-level fees will be custom due to a lesser-number of scheduled events.

Our coaches are firm believers that if we help your son only get better at baseball, we have done him a disservice.  We are proud to teach our players about being a leader at home, school, and in the community, while also promoting accountability and being a valued teammate.

What Are We Not?

We are not...

NOTE:  Youth Softball tournament team opportunities are also available should a coach want to pursue the creation of a team.  They would be called the "Lady Outlaws."

Participation Costs

Main Roster Player

$500

The fee for each player will include:  One (1) jersey, one (1) baseball cap, one (1) batting helmet, belt, socks, tournament insurance coverage, entry into a minimum of 5 tournaments between spring and summer, practice time throughout the season, and practice/game equipment.

NOTE:  10U and 8U is $350 due to less tournaments for 2026

Alternate Player

$250

An Alternate Player will be allowed to practice with the team, get a jersey, cap, batting helmet, belt, socks and join his teammates at events.  However, they are not guaranteed being included on a tournament roster.  They will be called up upon an absence of a Main Roster Player.  This opportunity is perfect for a player involved in a more demanding club team that simply wants additional opportunities.

If you would like to sponsor Center Valley Baseball....

Contact centervalleybaseball@gmail.com and let us know which level you would like to sponsor.  We will send you an invoice for your records with instructions about payment method options.  Since CVB is a for-profit organization, your sponsorship is not a tax-deductible donation.

Your sponsorship will allow us to purchase additional game and practice equipment, play in additional tournaments, purchase indoor practice space, and so much more!

Portions of the Champion and Community Sponsorships will be given as a donation to the Town of Center Foundation, which helps support the upkeep and upgrades of their town ball diamond.  Current needs are a scoreboard, power and water, concession stand slab, batting cage slab, and many other wishes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at centervalleybaseball@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No.  We are a community-based organization located in the Town of Center, WI.  We allow kids to participate from school districts that touch the Town of Center (Freedom, Appleton, Hortonville, Shiocton, and Seymour).

A baseball jersey, cap, helmet, socks, and a belt will be provided to your son and is included with your fees.  You will be responsible for providing your own pants and cleats.

No.  If a hotel stay is needed for an out-of-town tournament, you are responsible for those costs.  You will not be required to stay at a specific hotel, etc.  Food costs are also on you.  Center Valley Baseball will cover the tournament entry fees, as it is part of your son being a player with CVB.

A Center Valley Outlaws apparel store is being developed.  We will link to it upon its completion.

Unfortunately, no.  If you sign up for this team, you are expected to attend the tournaments that are scheduled.  However, we know "life happens," and there may be conflicts with your son's home community team.  While we will not be refunding a portion of your fees for missing that tournament, we will call up one of our Alternate Players to play in your son's spot for that event.

The plan for February and March will be non-required winter practices.  While we hope your son will attend these, we also know this is basketball and wresting season, and we do not want your son to hurt his team by missing those practices or games.  Required practices may begin in April and each team's coach will determine frequency, day of the week, and time.   All tournament dates and locations are not yet planned and will also be determined by each team's coach.
